| Job Description | Title: Base Pilot Based at: Fort Nelson, British Columbia Bailey Helicopters Ltd. (“Bailey”) is a private Company that was established in March 1989 with one Bell 47 and has since grown its fleet to 27 helicopters (Robinson R44’s, Bell 206’s and Astar 350’s) operating out of three bases – Fort St. John, Fort Nelson and Dawson Creek, British Columbia. Bailey has a long standing reputation for safety, a diverse range of specialized services and an outstanding reputation for job completion. JOB PURPOSE/ FORT NELSON BASE Bailey is looking to add a key member to its team – a Base Pilot in Fort Nelson, British Columbia. Our Fort Nelson base operates out of a new constructed hangar that was built in 2009. Depending upon the time of year, we operate 4 to 8 helicopters out of Fort Nelson with room for expansion. The base has pilots and engineers on site. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES As Base Pilot the key responsibilities with be: - daily flying and customer service - accurate completion of flight tickets, fight logs, and Crew Position Reports - maintain client relationships Actively supports the Company’s Safety Management System by actively participating in the program All other duties as assigned EXPERIENCE/TRAINING REQUIRED Canadian commercial helicopter license Minimum of 2,000 flight hours AStar helicopter experience Organization and communication skills (both written and oral) Excellent customer service skills Ability to work independently and within a team environment We offer competitive wages and an excellent benefits package.
