Are you a professional pilot looking for an exciting and challenging job with a well-established and growing company? Hillsboro Aviation is hiring Utility / Fire Suppression Pilots for B206 and/or B407 aircraft. Applicants must meet the DOI/USFS carding requirements for the above listed aircraft.

The position requires proficiency with 150 ft. vertical reference work. Short haul currency or previous short haul experience as well as a current DOI/USFS card is considered a plus.

During the fire season (April-September), this position will be based out of the western US.

Travel expenses, lodging, and per-diem will be paid by Hillsboro Aviation while on contract.

Employment opportunities will be considered after completion of the fire season. This could be a full-time position in which some overtime may be required.

Requirements:

FAA issued Commercial Pilot‘s license with Rotorcraft-Helicopter rating.
Minimum 1500 hours in turbine helicopters
Minimum 100 hours Bell 407
Minimum 100 hours Bell 206L
150 hours long-line (100‘ or longer) experience and proficient with a 150‘ line.
Previous fire suppression experience
Must be legal to work in the US and have a valid driver‘s license with a clean driving record. (CDL with Hazmat endorsement a plus.)
Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs and be capable of climbing on top of aircraft to perform inspections and various job duties.
Must keep complete and accurate records.

Preferred:

Short haul currency or previous short haul experience
Current DOI/USFS carding
Current passport
Good computer skills a plus.
