SRT has an immediate need for nine full time EC-145 / UH-72A Instructor Pilots, Standardization IP’s and Maintenance IP’s. Positions may require to be “dual hated” as either an Aviation Safety Officer (ASO), Property Book Officer (PBO) or Aviation Life Support Equipment (ALSE) Technician if appropriately qualified for the position.

Instructors shall provide academic and flight instruction for the UH-72A helicopter in accordance with AR 95-1, AR 95-20, TRADOC Training Circular (TC) 1-272, Aircrew Training Manual (ATM) and applicable flight and safety guidelines.

Instructors will also support ferry flights, maintenance test flights and other related flight or aviation operations activities as well as support training and re-currency requirements of US Army personnel both CONUS and OCONUS.

Requirements;

Instructors shall be qualified to US Army Standards per AR 95-1, AR 95-20 to conduct pilot and aircrew training. IP’s shall have or have successfully completed a US Army Directorate of Evaluation and Standardization (DES) IP evaluation. Applicants who meet the requirements, but have not completed the DES evaluation will be considered.

Minimum Qualifications

FAA Commercial Instrument or ATP Rotary Wing License

EC 145 Factory School or Equivalent Army Course of Instruction

US Army IP, SP, MIP

100 hours in type

50 hours in the last 12 months

Night Current

NVG Current

Secret Clearance

Desirable qualifications;

200 hours of NVG

100 hours of Mountain Time above 5500 PSA

Hoist Experience

Over Water SAR experience

Firefighting experience

Long Line / Vertical Reference experience

FAA CFI/CFII

EMS / MEDEVAC Experience

Aviation Safety Officer

ALSE Technician

Maintenance Officer

QA / SMS Program Manager

Top Secret Clearance
