Job Desc:

Experienced, qualified and current Huey II Maintenance test / Instructor pilot to perform maintenance test flights, maintenance operational checks and instruct Yemeni pilots in MTP operations. Responsibilities: Conduct refresher training and pilot evaluations of Yemeni pilots as required. Assist the FSR and contract maintenance team members in troubleshooting aircraft discrepancies. Perform MTP/IP test flights necessary to ensure airworthiness after performance of maintenance. Interface with Bell Helicopter‘s Executive Leadership team, customer executive leaders and high ranking officers in the Yemen military and heads of state. Interface with Product Support Engineering, Customer Support and Sales periodically to provide an update on problems encountered on maintenance test flights and pilot check rides.

Requirements:

- Minimum two years of college - 15 + years as helicopter pilot experience, 2500+ hours turbine flight experience to include 1500 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC) of the UH-1H or Huey II aircraft collectively.- 500 hours minimum Instructor and Maintenance Test pilot experience. - Commercial Rotorcraft IP certification - FAA certified Commercial Helicopter Pilot Must possess and maintain current class two medical certificate throughout duration of assignment.Must be capable of passing Huey II currency / proficiency check ride from Bell training academy pilots. Preferred:-20 plus + as helicopter pilot, 3000+ hours turbine flight experience to include 2000 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC) of the UH-1H or Huey II aircraft collectively.- 1000 hours minimum Instructor and Maintenance test pilot experience.- Commercial Rotorcraft IP Certification - Experience with Bell Helicopter products - Bachelor‘s Degree Must be willing to relocate to Yemen for ten months.Must be willing to travel in country to include austere environments.
