REACH is currently searching for an IFR Rotor-wing Chief Pilot.

Position Summary:  The Chief Pilot is accountable for the comprehensive delivery of aviation and maintenance services across the organization. This includes design, development and implementation of short, intermediate and long-range operational and strategic plans in the context of our vision and mission.

Requirements:

Job Requirements & Qualifications:

3000 hrs PIC helicopter time; 500 hrs night experience; 200 hrs IFR experience.

Preference given to applicants having ATP rating.

Previous A109 experience and/or single pilot IFR experience in a complex helicopter preferred.

Commercial rated multi-engine airplane or helicopter license.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent knowledge and experience preferred.

Minimum of seven (7) years experience in management which includes supervision, budgetary and safety.

Highly knowledgeable of the SOP’s, Operations Manual, FAR’s, Operations Specifications, Flight Manuals, etc., and other instructions pertinent to flight operations.

Ability to think strategically while attending to details.

Skills in observations, assessment and creative problem-solving.

Ability to communicate professionally, effectively and persuasively both orally and in writing at all levels of the organization.

Ability to maintain composure under pressure, work effectively and accurately with frequent interruptions, and asset and reset multiple priorities.

Strong PC and software skills, including Excel, Word and Filemaker Pro.

Ability to empower, organize and motivate a team and work within a strong team environment.

Excellent public relations, interpersonal and customer service skills.

Remains aware and understand the political environment both internally and externally.
