Job Desc:

Utility/Fire Suppression pilot(s) for US Government fire contracts throughout the Western United States. Applicants must meet USFS/DOI carding requirements for Bell UH-1Fs.

Pilot(s) will be considered for Chief Pilot position after the completion of the fire season.

Requirements:

Must have a minimum of 3000 hours as helicopter PIC, 2000 hours of PIC turbine helicopter experience, 200 hours in Bell 204 or UH-1, 200 hours as PIC during vertical longline (100’ or longer) operations and must demonstrate longline proficiency. Qualified pilots must also have previous fire suppression experience. USFS/DOI card and bale bombing experience are plusses.

Travel expenses, lodging and per-diem will be paid while on contract.
