Chesapeake Bay Helicopters is seeking qualified applicants to fill the positions of pilot/flight observer.  These are combined positions that require that the employee serve as both a pilot, equipment operator and flight observer.  CBH will provide all required training.  These positions will entail flying about 50% of the working time and will require substantial travel.  We operate Bell Jet Ranger and Hughes/MD 500 series helicopters.

Duties will be to act as Pilot in Command of turbine helicopters, operate LiDAR and gyrocameras and to occassionally act as power line inspection crew.

Required experience includes a minimum of a commercial pilot helicopter rating (dual airplane rating a plus).  A minimum of 750 total flight hours is required.  Turbine helicopter experience is advantageous.  A willingness to participate in equipment operator and power line observation training is also required.

Additional possibilities for advancement include flying external load class A, B or C.
