ZatzWorks produces stunning scenic, wildlife, and sport adventure aerials of Alaska using our R44 Clipper II helicopter and Cineflex HD stabilized camera.  We work in remote regions of Alaska and provide footage to National Geographic, Discovery, and the BBC among others.  See what we create at www.ZatzWorks.com .  We are now hiring a full-time pilot for the spring, summer and fall of 2011.  It’s a super cool job, and please apply if you have at least 500 hours of remote Alaska 135 flying experience.  The position is open as of May 1.  Pay is $300-$500/day depending on qualifications.

We’ll be looking for the following qualifications:

* FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate with Rotorcraft-Helicopter rating.
* At least 500 hours of helicopter flying in remote parts of Alaska (this is a must- please do not apply without this experience).
* Some experience flying on the North Slope, Western Alaska, and Southeast.
* RHC Safety Course completed within the last 5 years.
* At least 200 recent hours flying the R44.
* Biology, conservation, and/or filming experience are a plus.
* A&P is also a plus.
* Weight under 180 lbs is necessity due to weight and balance with camera.
* Experience working in really small companies where everyone chips in to keep things going.

Duties/Responsibilities:

* Plan and prepare for multi-day expeditions including identifying remote fuel options.
* Fly with cinematographer and position helicopter according to filming needs.
* Provide required helicopter care for general upkeep (non-A&P tasks).
