Omniflight Helicopters Inc. is seeking R/W Pilots for our EMS contract with St. Louis Children's Hospital based in Cahokia, IL and flying BK-117 aircraft.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.  Ensure participation in the Omniflight Safety Program policies and procedures by all base personnel.
2.  The primary duty of the Air Medical Pilot is to safely and expeditiously transport medical personnel and patients to and from the requested locations.
3.  Directly responsible for determining whether the aircraft is in condition for safe flight.
4.  Ensure the safety and security of the aircraft.
5.  Keep program personnel informed of the aircraft status.
6.  Keep the aircraft in a state of mission readiness and program personnel aware of any changes or expected changes in aircraft status.
7.  Attend meetings as requested by the customer.
8.  Maintain individual availability in a timely manner for any requested flight during the duty shift.
9.  Maintain a professional and well-groomed image at all times, both as a representative of Omniflight Helicopters, Inc., and of the customer.
10.  Ensure the aircraft is properly serviced and clean inside and out.
11.  Work in cooperation with the Base Manager in other duties and responsibilities as assigned, such as public relations and contract renewal efforts.
12.  Perform additional duties as assigned by the Base Manager, Regional Manager, or Director of Operations.
13.  Ensure that the operation of the aircraft is compliant with company and regulatory guidelines.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1.  Current Commercial R/W with Instrument Rating.
2.  Second class medical.
3.  2000 Hours Total R/W.
4.  1000 Hours PIC.
5.  100 Hours Night Unaided.
6.  500 Hours Turbine

REQUIREMENTS:

1.  Demonstrates leadership and initiative.

3.  Establishes effective interpersonal relationships and demonstrates positive customer service relations (internal and external).
4.  Effective oral and written communication skills.
5.  Possesses and demonstrates sound judgment and objectivity in decision making.
6.  In-depth knowledge of operational requirements of field, regulations, policies and procedures.
7.  Actively promotes teamwork on a corporate and program level.
8.  Able to work a 7/7 schedule with 12 hour shifts.

9.  Must reside within 1 hour commute of the operating base.via View Pilot Job Board.
