Upper Limit Aviation (ULA) is a Part 141/61 flight school and 135, 133, 137 Air Carrier located in Salt Lake City, Utah. ULA is a VA approved flight school and is nationally accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges.
Upper Limit Aviation provides flight training in R-22, R-44 and Bell 206 series aircraft and other commercial services such as interagency fire contracts and commodity surveys.
ULA is seeking a qualified individual for the position of Assistant Chief Flight Instructor/ Line Pilot. This position is additionally a management position with responsibilities involving student records, and company policies and processes.
This individual needs to be flexible and adaptive. They would be working in the school and additionally on commercial contracts, as needed. We are looking for a person who is self-motivated, responsible, organized and able to function rationally and efficiently in a fast paced setting. They need to be personable, goal-oriented and able to work well with others in a team environment.
Required experience:
CFII
1500 hours Robinson helicopter
200 hours Bell 206 series aircraft
Have held a flight instructor rating for two years
External load experience, Previous USFS/DOI carded and Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required.
Compensation range $45,000 - $71,500 depending on experience and abilities.
