Director of Maintenance

JOB DEFINITION:

Test fly incoming and outgoing aircraft and all systems installed for proper operation.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Test fly incoming and outgoing aircraft (206 B, 206-L, 407, 412, 222, and 230 series) evaluate the status of the aircraft and systems onboard. Work with mechanics to determine the necessary maintenance required and the route in which to accomplish the tasks required.
Meet with customers bringing in their aircraft for maintenance and discuss the discrepancies of their aircraft. Meet with the customer after the work is accomplished and make sure they are satisfied with the work accomplished while the aircraft was here.
Accept new aircraft from Bell and do the inventory of the aircraft and loose equipment. Deliver aircraft coming out of completion to the customer, do orientation flights if necessary and inventory loose equipment for delivery to the customer.
