REACH is currently proactively recruiting for Rotor-Wing IFR Pilots to join the REACH Team in Northern California! This is a full-time position -- you will be qualified in 2 aircraft and fly at our various bases.  If you enjoy variety and traveling 60-80% of the time this is the job for you! REACH Air Medical Services is a privately owned and operated EMS helicopter and fixed-wing provider headquartered in Santa Rosa, California and supports the following operations in California: Concord, El Centro, Lakeport, Marysville, Redding, Sacramento, Santa Rosa and Stockton, as well as Corvallis, Oregonand San Antonio, TX.

REACH operates Eurocopter EC135, Agusta A109, Bell 222, and 407 helicopters, as well as Cessna 421C and King Air B200 airplanes to perform patient transports providing high quality, customer-oriented patient care in a safe and efficient manner. Our Flight Crews respond to scene and interfacility patient transport requests, specializing in the transport of critically ill and/or injured pediatric patients. REACH has performed more than 55,000 air ambulance missions throughout the past 24 years.

Position Summary: Provides customer oriented, high quality air medical transport services in a safe and efficient manner. The pilot is expected to act as a proactive and integral team player, both in flight, and during ground operations, utilizing communication and technical skills which will strengthen the company goal of being held in highest regard within the EMS industry.

Qualifications:

  • 3000 hrs total helicopter time.
  • 1500 hrs PIC (helicopter).
  • 500 hrs cumulative night experience.
  • 200 hrs cumulative IFR experience.
  • EMS and FAR 135 experience preferred.
  • Commercial/Instrument helicopter rating.
  • Preference given to candidates with ATP rating.
  • Preference is given to applicants who have previous A109 experience and/or single pilot IFR experience in a complex helicopter.
  • Preference given to candidates with NVG experience.
