206 Fleet Manager - Yellowknife, NT

Great Slave Helicopters Ltd. is a dynamic rotary wing charter company that prides itself on safety, customer satisfaction and professionalism.

Reporting to the Production Manager, you use your strong relationship-building skills to manage and support the 206 fleet and team in the day to day operation.

•Plan, coordinate, assign work, and establish goals and priorities;

•Provide troubleshooting support for crew in the field; identify and provide solutions for coordination functions which could impact maintenance and operations i.e.: equipment scheduling;

•Supervision, coaching and mentoring of engineers and apprentices in Yellowknife;

•Enforce, recommend and develop Maintenance processes and best practices that align with overall operational and company objectives;

•Liaising with internal/external stakeholders to align key business priorities while ensuring safe flight operations;

•Other duties and projects assigned by the Production Manager or Director of Maintenance.

Required skills, knowledge and experience:

•Licensed AME with 10 years experience with a minimum of 3 years experience on type;

•Confident leader who is self-motivated, innovative and results-orientated;

•Exceptional communication, organizational and time-management skills;

•Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a busy and flexible environment;

•Effective problem solver thinking both creatively and analytically;

•Strong knowledge of business and customer base;

•Solid project management skills in the areas of establishing priorities, allocating resources and meeting client needs on time and on budget.

Position is based in Yellowknife, NT.
