Responsibilities

1) Delivery of ground school lectures;
2) Delivery of flight training devices (FTD) lessons, and
3) Aircraft flight training (as assigned), by satisfactorily completing an evaluation by the CFTS Chief Rotary Wing Instructor, or designate;
4) Carry out maintenance test flights as required.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
• TC Commercial Pilots License, endorsed on B206 and B412;
• TC medical (optional for Academic Instructors);
• TC Instructor Rating and/or DND QFI Category Rating;
• TC Class IV Instrument Rating;
• DND Flight Instructor Course (FIIC), Qualification Code AIMB;
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel);
• Good organizational skills required;
• Excellent oral and written communication skills;
• Positive attitude;
• Ability to work within a group environment;
• Must be available to work overtime hours from time to time.

Salary Range: $ 90,438 to $ 91,000 per year
