PRISM Seeks Director of Safety Systems for Helicopter Operations

Professional Resources In System Management, LLC (PRISM), a wholly owned subsidiary of ARGUS International, is currently seeking a Director of Safety Systems for Helicopter Operations to join our team.
The Director of Safety Systems is responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle, including: gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with IT, sales, marketing and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met.
The Director works with customers, sales, and marketing to identify key business use cases and drive enhancements and requirements into the product development process and provides supervision for Product Managers or Aviation Analysts, as assigned. The Director of Safety System job also includes ensuring that the product supports the company's overall strategy and goals.
Major Responsibilities and Duties
Develops safety and quality management systems for helicopter Part 135 and Part 91 enterprises to meet applicable regulatory and organizational requirements. These operations include private, fire support, law enforcement, EMS, charter, off-shore, tour, ENG, etc.
Provide customers with technical support to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements of ICAO and State Civil Aviation Authorities.
Provide customers with the highest level of service through primary interaction and staff management.
Develop strategies to deliver PRISM web-based services that anticipate customer requirements.
Provide SMS and leadership coaching services to customer senior management teams.
Develop safety system tools and methods that provide the rotary-wing industry with practical techniques and processes to lower operational risk through implementation of preventative solutions.
Develop and deliver safety-oriented training programs to the helicopter aviation industry.
Assist sales and marketing departments with the development of core positioning and messaging for PRISM products and services.
Assist marketing and sales departments with on-line and on-site product demos to prospective customers.
Help set product pricing to meet revenue and profitability goals.
Provide reports of product development/enhancement status to senior leadership teams.
Work with the sales department to develop sales tools.
Provide developmental and annual performance reviews of subordinate staff members, as assigned.
Assist with preparing PRISM budgets and forecasts to maximize success.
This position will work at our Colorado location.
Minimum requirements
4-year college degree or equivalent work experience as determined by employer.
Formal training as a safety practitioner required.
Formal training as an aviation lead auditor desired.
4,000 hours helicopter flying experience required; Commercial license and CFI ratings required; CFII desired.
Five years experience as organizational safety director.
Previous experience in the commercial aviation industry preferred.
Excellent and professional written and verbal skills.
Excellent phone, interpersonal and organizational skills.
