S‐92 Instructor Pilot – Kuwait

S‐92 Instructor Pilot – This position supports the Kuwait Air Force S‐92 Squadron in Kuwait.  Provides high‐level knowledge and technical expertise in one or more aviation related areas associated with the Lockheed L‐100 aircraft.  Serves as an S‐92 Instructor Aircraft Commander responsible for quality training to KAF S‐92 pilot trainees under the KAF S‐92 training programs. Participates in day and night instructional support flights; documents student progress, summarizes student strengths and weaknesses, applies corrective ground and flight instruction for students and evaluates and recommends students for advancement as a part of S‐92 standard progression and upgrade.  Serves as Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the S‐92 aircraft and assists in the development, modification, and maintenance of KAF S‐92 pilot and air crew training curricula. Must be able to analyze data, design a course, and translate principles of learning and instruction into instructional materials, activities, information resources, and evaluation.

Responsible for the design, development and delivery of S‐92 pilot and co‐pilot training.  Successful applicants must be willing to work and live in Kuwait for a minimum of one‐year with a mid‐year trip home.

Required:

 Education: Bachelors Degree

 Current, qualified S92 Pilot

 Minimum flying hours: 3500 Hours TT, 1000 Hours (in S‐92), 500 Hours IP

 Current Class 2 Medical Certificate (capable of Class 1)

 Current DOD Secret Clearance (or ability to obtain obtaining)

 Certifications: Commercial Pilot Certificate, Certified Flight Instructor, Instrument Qualification

Highly Desired:

 US Military Formal School Instructor experience

 Certifications: Air Transport Pilot (H), Certified Flight Instructor Instrument
