CHC has just been CARB (Commercial Airlift Review Board) approved by the US Department of Defence and we are preparing for new contract(s) for direct-entry Captains on the AS332. The nature of this work will be VFR onshore day operations transporting personnel.

This is no ordinary flying job; Candidates for this position must appreciate the challenge of operating in very difficult environments such as Afghanistan, Iraq or other locations of this nature. These openings will not be a part of our International touring pool but rather you will be hired to these specific contracts.

We will be asking for a one year commitment minimum and the selected candidates will be given one year contracts that automatically renew for up to five years.

As the industry leader, we are looking for motivated, passionate pilots for whom safety is the number one priority. Your cooperative and mature attitude will ensure you can adapt to changing deadlines and priorities with ease.

In this role, you can expect to work 182 days a year however the roster is still to be determined. You will spend an additional 8-10 days annually in the simulator and in other forms of recurrent training.

Required Competencies:

    Education / Credentials:

  • 3000 hours total time
  • 1000 hours PIC
  • 500 hours PIC Multi
  • 300 hours offshore
  • 100 hours PIC on the AS332L
  • 250 hours on the AS332L
  • Valid passport
  • Current ATPL(H) with command IR/Night ratings
