We are currently accepting resumes for a Chief Pilot position. Candidates must have previous Chief Pilot experience with an Instructor Rating and Long Line experience. In additions, candidates must be qualified in accordance with the CASS relating to the use of helicopters in aerial work and air taxi operations. Aircraft Types: AS350 B3 / AW119 Koala
Reporting to the Operations Manager the Chief Pilot will be directly responsible for the safe and efficient operation of Company helicopters and the supervision of flight crews, including, but not limited to:
- implementing flight crew training and periodic checks, to ensure all flight crew members are competent to carry out assigned duties and capable of passing the PPC as described in the CASS;
- ensuring all flight crew members are instructed and examined in the use of all required emergency and life saving equipment
- performing drills in emergency evacuation of the aircraft used
- developing standard operating procedures (SOPs) if applicable
- ensuring all directives and notices are issued to flight crews
- maintaining a current information library and ensuring all publications are readily available to each flight crew member
- acting on various directives from the Operations Manager

This position will be stationed out of Sudbury Ontario therefore local candidates or candidates willing to relocate are preferable. Competitive salary offered.
