The nature of this work will be VFR onshore day operations transporting personnel and equipment.

This is no ordinary flying job; Candidates for this position must appreciate the challenge of operating in a very difficult environment of Afghanistan. We are hiring specifically for the operation in Afghanistan however you will be a member of the international touring pool.

We will be asking for a one year commitment minimum.

As the industry leader, we are looking for motivated, passionate pilots for whom safety is the number one priority. Your cooperative and mature attitude will ensure you can adapt to changing deadlines and priorities with ease.

In this role, you can expect to work 182 days a year on a 6 week on, 6 week off rotation. You will spend an additional 8-10 days annually in the simulator and in other forms of recurrent training.

3000 hours total time
1000 hours PIC
500 hours PIC Multi
100 hours PIC on the AS332L
250 hours on the AS332L
Valid passport
Current ATPL(H)
Long line or Winching experience preferred
Previous experience in Afghanistan is desirableWorking Conditions
Located at forward operating military bases throughout Afghanistan (most likely to start at FOB Shank)
Accommodations will be tents
Aircraft will be Canadian registered
