EMS Pilot – New York

The EMS Pilot is the Pilot-in-command of the aircraft and reports directly to the Chief Pilot or Lead Pilot and is responsible for the safe and efficient conduct of each flight assignment. In order to be considered as a EMSAS helicopter line pilot, a person must have the following qualifications:
- FAA Commercial Pilot Rotorcraft-Helicopter
- FAA Instrument Rating-Helicopter
- Minimum of 2,000 hours total helicopter flight time
- 1000 hours Pilot in Command flight time
- 500 hours turbine helicopter time
- 250 hours Night (Unaided)
- current FAA Medical Certificate – Class 2
Specific requirements:
- previous EMS, IFR, remote locations, multi-engine, turbine, etc. will be considered
- Relocation to New York Finger Lakes Region or commutable distance is essential
- Successful candidate must be able to pass a drug test
