Description of position
Canadian Helicopters has openings for Rotary Wing Academic, FTD & Flight Instructors in Southport Manitoba in support of the Contracted Flying Training and Support (CFTS) program. Instructors report to the Chief Rotary Wing Instructor (Southport) and will be assigned duties commensurate with their qualifications and on site requirements. We are also accepting expressions of interest from candidates in anticipation of expanding the Southport instructor cadre. Responsibilities 1. Delivery of ground school lectures; 2. Delivery of flight training devices (FTD) lessons, and 3. Aircraft flight training (as assigned), by satisfactorily completing an evaluation by the CFTS Chief Rotary Wing Instructor, or designate; 4. Carry out maintenance test flights as required.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications: • TC Commercial Pilots License, endorsed on B206 (B412 an asset); • TC medical; • TC Instructor Rating and/or DND QFI Category Rating; • TC Class IV Instrument Rating; • DND Flight Instructor Course (FIC), Qualification Code AIMB; • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel); • Good organizational skills required; • Excellent oral and written communication skills; • Positive attitude; • Ability to work within a group environment; • Must be available to work overtime hours from time to time.
Salary range
$ 78 531.00
