Summary Of Job:
KATU-TV, the ABC affiliate in Portland, Oregon seeks a helicopter pilot to provide support to ensure a successful broadcast product.

KATU's helicopter is a Bell 206B Jet RangerIs.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities:
The pilot operates the aircraft in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with all appropriate Federal Aviation Regulations and rotorcraft flight manuals. The pilot is also responsible for; dealing with all issues with the FAA Office, tracking and scheduling all maintenance and mechanical issues with our maintenance facility, keeping the aircraft clean at all times. The pilot must understand maneuvers, procedures, and emergency operations appropriate for a Bell 206B. Comply with federal drug and alcohol policies.

Essential Functions:
• Must be able to write, speak clearly, read, hear and see (with or without corrective devices).
• Must be able to work weekends and accommodate shift changes including working extended hours.
• Must have a valid driver's license to use a company vehicle.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications:
• US Commercial Pilot License or higher with Rotorcraft-Helicopter class rating.
• Second Class or higher FAA medical certification (unrestricted)
Prior Bell Helicopter Factory Pilot Training (Bell 206)
Prior ENG Experience with working Knowledge of Microwave Transmitters and Receivers

1000 Hours Turbine Time
750 Hours Make and Model (Bell 206)
500 Hours Mountain Time
300 Hours Unaided Night Time
