LifeTeam is an independent Air Medical company headquartered in Newton, Kansas with bases throughout Kansas and Nebraska. We utilize Beechcraft C-90 (King Air), Bell 206L Helicopters, and ground ambulance units.
We have an IMMEDIATE opening for a Bell 206L Helicopter Pilot in Command.
As a Helicopter Pilot in Command with LifeTeam, you will be expected to:
· Remain safety focused while transporting patients and medical crews · Posses a STRONG understanding of FAR’s and operate within Company Policy and applicable FAR’s with minimal supervision · Adapt readily to changing situations and exercise consistent good judgement · Be comfortable in a single-pilot environment while still working as a member of a team · Posses a strong work ethic and get along well with others · Communicate well · Competitive pay and benefits (Life, Health, and Dental Insurance, 401k, Vacation, Sick Leave and Long Term Disability) · 7/7 schedule with housing provided while on-hitch · A rewarding career with a genuine company which focuses on Safety, Patient Care, and Employee well-being
Experience/ Certifications and Other Qualifications : · Current Class 1 or 2 Medical Certificate · 2000 Total time · 1000 PIC · 500 Turbine · 200 Night · Bell 206L (or equivalent) experience · FAA Commercial Rotorcraft Helicopter · Instrument Helicopter · (ATP Preferred, but not required) · Max 220 lb body weight Additionally, successful candidates will be willing to relocate to within 2 hours of their assigned base. Waivers will be granted ONLY if special circumstantial needs exist. Preference will be given to applicants with previous EMS experience. |
