Detailed description:
This position is located in Arlington, TX Job Requirements: • Perform initial and recurrent flight training on AW609 tilt rotor aircraft working with integrated test team to assist with the development and certification flight test program • Perform initial and recurring flight training on AW helicopters as assigned • Conducting sales flight demonstrations, when required • Work with Training Business Unit to develop appropriate training for AW609 • Work the FAA to establish flight rules and procedures for the AW609 • Be assignable to travel, supporting all manner of flight ops tasking Qualifications and Competencies: • Bachelors Degree • Minimum 8 years experience in a similar position with the following recent flight experience: Test Pilot experience 5,000 total flight hours – fixed wing and rotorcraft 1,000 hours turbo prop/commuter/corporate jet 1,000 hours instrument (at least half of which in fixed wing) • CPL Rotorcraft, instrument rating • FAA Airline Transport Pilot License – Commercial license required with instrument rating • CFI/CFII • Valid/Current FAA Class I Medical • Valid Passport • Knowledge of mechanical and electrical principles as applied to maintenance and repair of helicopters, theory of flight and use and interpretation of diagrams, blueprints, and applicable technical publications • Must be US citizen or Permanent Resident
