A Seattle based company is searching for a Chief Pilot, Helicopters to oversee all activities pertaining to the supervision of six-plus helicopter pilots to include: recruiting, initial and recurrent training, aircraft currency/proficiency, and aircraft operating standards. The position will maintain a pilot flight standards program to evaluate adherence to FAR’s, international aviation regulations and directives, and the General Operations Manual (GOM) to include standard operating procedures; implementation of crew resource management (CRM) techniques; and exercise of sound judgment in operation of the aircraft. Periodic international travel will be required.
The ideal candidate will have:
· A Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) from accredited institution and ten plus years relevant experience, OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
· Previous experience flying high net worth individuals
· Previous management experience
· Extensive background in helicopter flight operations
· At least 5,000 hours Total Flight Time, 3,000 hours PIC, and 3,000 hours Turbine
· Training in S76, MD900, or EC145
· In depth knowledge of FAR regulations; in particular Part 91
· An FAA First Class Medical Certificate, ATP, Radio Operators Permit, and US Passport.
· Absence of history of violations of Federal Aviation Administration regulations.
