Pilot ME IFR Captain
CareFlight provide a Bell 412EP and a BK117 to transport the NETS teams with their patients from across NSW back to tertiary care in Sydney, Newcastle and Canberra.
This 24-hour operation is located at the NETS helipad adjacent to the Children's Hospital at Westmead.
CareFlight is seeking a suitably qualified Captain for this operation.
Applicants MUST meet the following criteria:
- Australian ATPL(H);
- Class 1 Medical;
- 3000 hours total helo;
- 2000 hours PIC helo;
- 1500 hours PIC turbine;
- 500 hours PIC multi helo;
- 50 hours IFR;
- 30 hours PIC night helo;
- Command Instrument Rating (H) with three renewals.
- EMS and SAR experience,
- Medium / Heavy helicopter,
- EFIS cockpit,
- NVG endorsement,
- BK117, B412, A109E endorsement,
- hoist, sling and low flying experience.
