Rotor-Lift is a modern and progressive Police Rescue/SAR/EMS and Advanced Flight Training Company that is further expanding its Advanced Flying Training academy and requires the addition of a Senior Instructor for CPL Endorsement, IFR (H), NVFR and NVG (H) training operations.
Helicopter Senior Instructor CPL / IFR / NVFR / NVG
The successful applicant’s primary role will be as CPL/IFR/NVFR/NVG instructor working directly with the CFI in the flying school. In addition he or she will assist the Chief Pilot in a check/training role for the EMS/SAR operation as well as CPL training in Bell 206 & AS350 aircraft.
Applicants will be required to relocate to Hobart for this full time position.
The success applicant would have the following qualifications and experience:
- Extensive Instructional background in CPL Training
- ATPL (H) desirable
- 2,000 hours helicopter
- 1,000 hours command
- 200 hours M/E helicopter
- 100 hours NVFR (H)
- IR-C M/E (H) – 3 renewals
- Minimal Instructor Grade 2 (H)
- SAR / EMS experience - desirable
- 50 hours NVG experience - desirable
- Sling, winch, rappel endorsement – desirable
NB: Training of a suitably experienced Instructor not holding all of the necessary qualifications will be considered.
