Tenure track Assistant or Associate Professor to teach helicopter and general aviation The position includes a mix of teaching, research, and service obligations. Basic teaching requirements are 12 undergraduate credit hours (four courses) per semester to begin August 2014.

|Candidate must have significant operational/commercial helicopter flight experience in turbine and reciprocating engine helicopters. FAA Certified Flight Instructor credentials and helicopter maintenance experience a plus. Duties include teaching, presentations, student advising, curriculum and program development, research, committee service, and academic professional development activities.
A Masters-level degree in an appropriate related discipline is required, but a degree at the Doctorate level is preferred. Salary will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience. Application reviews begin immediately and will continue until the position is filled.
