Highland Helicopters is seeking experienced pilots to manage bases at each of its facilities in Lac La Biche and Red Earth, Alberta and in Chetwynd and Fort Nelson, BC.
Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 1500 hours’ helicopter experience, including at least 500 hours on turbine-engine helicopters, ideally on AS350 and/or Bell 206, with a minimum of 100 hours in the past 12 months. Preference will be given to candidates with more than 2000 hours, and at least 300 hours AStar time.
Previous base management experience is particularly desirable.
For Chetwynd and Fort Nelson an approved mountain flying qualification and a minimum of 500 hours flight experience in western Canada’s mountains are essential.
Compensation comprised of base salary, flight pay, away-from-base pay and other elements can be expected to range between $80,000 and $110,000 per year, and more, depending upon performance. A full benefits package rounds out the remuneration.
