An exciting opportunity to join Babcock Mission Critical Services Onshore (BMCSO), a leading provider of mission-critical helicopter services to the air ambulance, police and offshore sectors. BMCSO provides world-class operations to our customers helping them to save lives and protect communities every day.

Our fleet of 28 helicopters from bases across England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland has been providing dedicated air ambulance support for more than 20 years and our police helicopters have been supporting UK communities for almost a decade. BMCSO constantly invests in new aircraft, equipment and training to ensure the consistent capability to deliver safe, dependable operational excellence at all times.

Responsibilities BMCSO currently operates HEMS and Air Ambulance in support of the East Anglian Air Ambulance. They operate in support the East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust, delivering enhanced emergency medical and trauma care across the region. The role will be for crews to operate HEMS and Air Ambulance missions, both by day and utilizing NVIS for night operations. The successful candidate would be required to reside within 45 minutes/25 miles of Cambridge Airport or make arrangements for accommodation at their own expense.

Qualifications & Requirements

• 1000 hours minimum total helicopter experience.
• Fluent English, Driving License, Passport, Right to Work in the UK.
• Be qualified and instrument rated on both the EC135 and EC145.
• Current or Recent HEMS experience.
• Have experience of flight with Night Vision Goggles.
