Toll Helicopters (see www.tollgroup.com/tollhelicopters and www.tollgroup.com/acetrainingcentre), part of the Toll Group, is looking for an AW139 HEMS Pilot / Flight Instructor to join the NSW Helicopters team. This position is based in Bankstown, NSW. You will fly as operational crew on Toll's NSW / ACT aeromedical operation. You will plan and deliver pilot training in support of the aeromedical service, utilising live training aircraft and the full suite of simulation services available at our facility, including the AW139 Level D OEM Simulator and the CATS full crew trainer. In addition you will manage and conduct Flight Instructor / Examiner duties, delivering training to domestic and international students as a part of Toll's Part 142 Organisation and also as the Leonardo Authorised Training Centre for the region. In order to deliver the full suite of Leonardo courses and issue qualifications for these courses, only applicant's holding both CASA and EASA/EU Flight Crew Licences and EASA/EU AW139 TRI and TRE (H) qualifications will be considered for this position. You will also work closely with full time human factors and aeromedical crew resource management staff to deliver best-in-class non-technical skills training.
Requirements
Excellent people management, resource management and communication skills.
Excellent Aeromedical Crew Resource Management skillset and facilitation skills.
2000 hours multi-engine turbine rotary wing flight experience.
AW139 Type Endorsement and minimum 500 hrs PIC relevant experience on type.
Multi-Engine Instrument Rating with minimum 5 renewals, current on AW139 type.
Minimum 5 years and 500 hrs PIC in EMS/SAR operation, preferably on AW139 type in both operational and instructional roles.
NVG Endorsement with minimum 250 hrs PIC NVG, current on AW139 type.
CASA ATPL(H) with the appropriate endorsements and ratings to act as pilot in command of all NSW / ACT EMS operations authorised by the Operator's certificate.
EASA / EU Flight Crew Licence with EASA/EU ATPL(H)
EASA/EU TRI AW139 and TRE (H).
Hold, or have ability to quickly obtain, CASA Flight Instructor and Flight Examiner approvals for AW139, including for conduct of IPC, NPC, relevant OPCs and Flight Reviews including LL and winching.
CASA Class 1 Medical.
Commercial acumen and an interest in business development desirable.
