Assistant Chief Pilot – Connecticut
C.T. Solutions of SHelton, Conn. is seeking an assistant chief pilot, helicopter to assist the chief pilot in managing all activities pertaining to helicopter pilots to include: recruiting, initial and recurrent training, aircraft currency/proficiency, and aircraft operating standards. This includes career path management for pilots and upgrade training to ensure operating requirements are met.
He/she will also prioritize and distribute additional duties and projects, as necessary, to pilots. The assistant chief pilot, helicopter also actively functions as Pilot in Command or Second in Command of a two-pilot helicopter flight operation. Operations are based primarily onboard large private luxury yachts that operate throughout the world. Responsibilities include not only normal flight duties, but also acquisition of permits and permissions to fly in various countries, some light maintenance (with supervision), washing and cleaning the aircraft, and other duties as assigned. This position requires extensive domestic and international travel, the ability to work and sometimes live in close proximity to other crew members, and a positive attitude toward non-flying as well as flying duties.

Extensive background in helicopter flight operations.
Previous management experience in a large corporate flight department or a flight department that services high net worth individuals.
Solid people and organizational skills.
At least 5,000 hours Total Flight Time, 3,000 hours PIC, and 3,000 hours Turbine.
In-depth knowledge of FAR regulations. In particular Part 91.
An FAA First Class Medical Certificate, ATP, Radio Operators Permit, and U.S. passport.
Absence of history of violations of Federal Aviation Administration regulations.
Able to maintain a First Class Medical Certificate.
